WHAT IS A RE-MAP?
All Vehicles rely on the engine ECU for instruction relating to Fuelling, Timing and RPM. This information is stored in a “MAP”.
When a manufacturer develops a new vehicle they take into consideration all driving conditions and regions in which they intend to sell this model, in other words the tuning is a compromise. We rewrite or ECU REMAP the vehicles engine software to safely gain more power and torque. This gives IMPROVED DRIVABILITY and the added bonus of enhanced fuel economy
By altering the data on this MAP we can change the characteristics of the vehicle all together and unleash the engines true potential. All this is achieved without compromising the vehicles reliability or drive-ability.
All vehicles are given a pre-mapping diagnostic inspection which allows us to check the suitability of your vehicle before the mapping begins. This gives our customers peace of mind that their vehicle will be able to sustain its new found power.
Any problems brought up by our Diagnostic Inspection must be rectified before we are able to proceed.
